It’s a new year and many of us are busy planning our calendars. If you haven’t yet, I highly recommend adding a Homeschool Convention to your ‘to-do’ list. Whether you are a seasoned home educator or new to the idea, you will find value in attending a convention.
Homeschool Conventions (also called Expos or Conferences) are a wonderful way to connect with like-minded families, learn new skills, meet authors and publishers, and examine homeschool products in person.
A Google search for ‘Homeschool Convention’ will provide a list of Christian and Secular Expos, and occasionally a mix of both. Most of these conventions are in-person events, though online or live-stream Expos exist, having become more popular since 2020’s shut down of in-person gatherings.
In this blog I’ve decided to focus on two of America’s most popular Christian Homeschool Conventions, which appeal to families nationwide. If you prefer, smaller, localized Homeschool Conventions are held in every state. To search for a local Expo, simply Google your state’s name for the most up to date information. To help with your decision-making, localized events are typically less expensive to attend (reduced travel expenses) and they can best address questions regarding home education (and regulations) in your state.

Here are two of the largest Homeschool Conferences in the United States for 2026:
1. Teach Them Diligently
Focusing on Biblical Parenting and Excellent Home Education
Teach Them Diligently celebrates gospel-centered homeschooling. Their mission is ”to provide families with resources that encourage, equip, and inspire…”. This homeschool conference features a wide variety of speakers, including some of the best-informed homeschool voices in America.
Vendors are carefully screened to ensure their products align with the gospel. In addition, a portion of the product sales revenue goes to support Christian missions in the United States and abroad.
